Give For Good Louisville Day is Friday, September 17.
As a fully volunteer-run non-profit organization, Derby City Curling Club relies on funding resources like donations to spread the joy of curling to Louisville and its surrounding areas. Give For Good Day is our biggest fundraising day. With your help we are able to educate, offer Learn To Curl classes, hold wheelchair curling clinics, bring curling to local after school programs, and so much more. On September 17, starting at 12:01 AM we welcome you to make a donation.
Donate More with Match Minutes
During Give For Good Day, there are five pre-set match minutes. Any donation up to $100 will be doubled during these times. There is a $10,000 pool for each time so it’s important to make your donation as quickly as possible.
The match minutes will take place at 8:45 AM, 1:45 PM, 5:45 PM, 8:45 PM, and 10:45 PM.
To make sure that your donation is doubled, have your payment set up and hit the donate button as the clock hits the correct time. The $10,000 pool goes quickly.
Far & Wide Strategic Prize
If we can be the first organization to secure a minimum $10 donation from each state, we will earn a $1,000 prize.
Last year, we were able to get donations from 37 states, and want to win the award this year. If you know someone outside of Kentucky, please ask them to make a donation on September 17.
